Western Group of Temples - The Western Group of Temples are situated on the west of the Bamitha-Rajnagar road on the banks of Sib-Sagar. They comprise six major edifices and are dedicated to the Shaivite and Vaishnavite cults.
1) Chausath Jogini Temple
2) Kandariya Mahadeva lemple
3) Devi Jagdamba Temple
4) Chitragupta or Bharatji's Temple
5) Vishwanath Temple
6) Laxmana Temple
7) Matangeshwar Temple (Mahadev temple)
8) Pratapeshwar Temple (early-mid 19th century)
9) Varaha temple.
10) Parvati temple
11) Nandi temple
12) Lalguan Mahadev temple
